ABOUT SAMHITA NIRUPAN SAMAROHA

The Samhita Nirupan Samaroha is an annual ritual of Anant Ayurveda Pratisthan. This Samaroha is held at Moti Dhanej, Saurashtra in Gujarat mostly at end of January of every year. Four days residential program held on ancient location where dwelling of Devodas Dhanwantari was found. 70-100 students of post graduate Ayurveda courses learn to read/infer traditional books/granthas under guidance of gurus. This Program is running from a decade. (Since 2011)

IMPORTANCE OF THE PLACE

Moti Dhanej village has a monument of Bhagwan Dhanwantari(Kashiraj Diwodas Dhanwantari 2nd Dhanwantari Avatar who was a King of Kashi). The importance of this place is discovered by our founder Vd. Anant Vishnu Bakre. He and his beloved friend Vd. P. T. Joshi (Nana Joshi), Dhule. visited this sacred place, stayed their for many days. During their visit, they verified the importance of Dhanwantari monument at Dhanej. Vd. Anant Vishnu Bakre, who believed service of Ayurveda through teaching decided to arrange Samhita Nirupan Samaroha annually as an rightful way to pay tribute at this sacred place.

Vd. Anant Dharmadhikari paid a pivotal role in setting up Samhita Nirupan Samaroha. Since last 10 years samaroha were arranged at Moti Dhanej with the help of locals. Members of Anant Ayurveda Pratishthan are engaged in this activity.

Support of Locals

Bhutnath Mahadev Temple Trust did an amazing job by staging this event and helping with food and accommodation facilities. Main trustee of this mandir, Mr Maganbhai Vyas is always supportive to arrange this seminar at Bhutnath Mandir, a very divine place. We are also thankful to Vd. Raghuveer Joshi, consultant at Bhutnath Mandir for his constant help and support throughout this event.

Vd. Damania, renowned ayurveda practitioner in Gujarat is also associated with us. He help us in making of this seminar spiritual. He always explain a few things about Daiva Vyapashraya Chikitsa. Pictures of Dhanvantari and Ashwini Kumar with his book on Ayurveda and Adhyatma is a memorable gift to all students.

Vd Bharatbhai Goswami, Keshod and his brother Mr. Chetanbhai Goswami, Veraval helped us in arrangement and management of seminar at Dhanwantari Mandir in previous days (1st and 2nd seminar)when there is no definite support.

On the last day of the samaroha, everyone visited Dhanvantari Ashram in Dhanej, Gujarat. Local folks are always happy to see this crowd of Doctors visiting there from different states of India.

Some students from abroad also join this seminar from couple of years. They are also grateful after visiting the sacred place of Lord Dhanwantari and also after enriched with knowledge shared by all gurus in this seminar.

We are always thankful to the students who attended Samhita Nirupan Samaroha. We are confident that these students are the Torch-bearers. They will carry the flame of Ayurveda ahead, enlightening the present and future generations to come.

Overall 75 students attended the Samhita Nirupan Samaroha. They were from various states of India along with international students.

  • Four days residential Gurukul (Samhita Vachan and teaching)
  • 100-120 students of UG, PG, PhD Ayurveda courses as well as Ayureveda Practitioner learn to read / infer traditional books (Granthas) under guidance of eminent gurus.
