An Essay Competition is organised on subjects of Ayurveda as a tribute to Late. Vd. Bindumadhav Katti on his Memorial Day of Commemoration by Anant Ayurveda Pratishthan, Pune.
Details of competition are as follows
As per request of some Ayurveda scholars, this competition is organized in two groups
Group 1 for Students from 2nd BAMS to PG
Group 2 for Teachers/Professionals/Researchers/Practitioners

- “अभ्यङ्गम् आचरेत् नित्यम्” स्वास्थ्यरक्षण, चिकित्सा प्रयोग
- ओज संकल्पना / ओज विचार
- हेतु विपरितार्थकारी चिकित्सा – शास्त्र, तत्व, व्यवहार
Group 2 – For Teachers/Professionals/Researchers/Practitioners
- सात्म्य कल्पना
- आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा बलस्थाने

Eligibility for competition
Group 1
2nd, 3rd and 4th yr BAMS Students, BAMS Interns, PG Students of Ayurveda.
Group 2
Teachers/Professionals/Researchers/Practitioners having BAMS, MD/MS, PhD degrees in Ayurveda
Rules for Writing Essay
Language for Essay must be Marathi/ Hindi/ English.
Fonts must be
- Devanagari font: Unicode, font size: 10, space:1.5
- English font: Times New Roman, font size: 12, space: 1.5
Sanskrit Shlokas or words can be used for proper referencing in Devnagari font.
Essay must be limited to 9 to 12 A4 size pages.
Other Rules
- Every participant must send an essay only one time.
- Any Changes in Essay cannot be possible after once sent Or refrain from re-sending it for any other reasons.
- Any type of participant’s identity or self-information or name of working institute is not allowed on essay. Such essays may get rejected from competition.

Kindly note that certificate will not be issued if proper information is not filled.
Last date of submission is 20/3/24. Essays sent after this date will not be accepted for competition.
Registration fee for competition is Rs 100/-
Essays without registration cannot be accepted.

- Examiners Decision is the final for this competition.
- Best Essays selected by examiners will get awards.
- Authority to give Awards completely depends on the decision of examiners as well as organizers.
- Also, authority of publication of essays of ranked students will be with the organizers.
- Results of the competition will be declared and the felicitation ceremony will be organized in Charak Uhan Program in Apr 24 (Exact date will be declared soon).
- Previous awarded essays are uploaded on the website of Anant Ayurveda Pratishthan
- Awarded students must come for the Felicitation ceremony with their own expenses.

- Subject Writing Style – 15 marks
- References from Ayurveda Classical Texts – 15 marks
