An Essay Competition is organized on subjects of Ayurveda as a tribute to Late. Vd. Bindumadhav Katti on his Day of Commemoration.
Guruvarya Katti sir was a devoted follower of Ayurveda with strong will of spreading this knowledge among his students. He was known for using scientific skills of Rugna Pariksha and unique methods of Rog Nidan.
He worked in Ayurveda faculty from 1956 to 2000 as a professor in almost all Government Ayurveda colleges in Maharashtra. He was the chairman of ‘Akhil Bhartiya Ayurveda Parishad’ & advisor of ‘Ayurveda Vyaspith’. He travelled a lot for organizing health camps & public lectures in small villages of Maharashtra after his retirement. Each moment of his life he lived as Vaidya, as a Drushtakarma vaidya.
